Osun state APC members have been advised by Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, to steer clear of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s caucus.
Aregbesola recently formed a caucus called Omoluabi Progressives, claiming that it is a merger of various caucuses.
However, Oyetola, speaking in Yoruba language, warned party members to disregard this group for the sake of the party’s unity.
He supported the State Working Committee’s decision to punish members involved in anti-party activities and emphasized the importance of attending official APC meetings at their respective wards.
Oyetola expressed openness to genuine reconciliation if those involved show remorse and willingness to engage in dialogue.
The former governor also urged party loyalists to actively participate in party meetings and events, stating his belief that the party will regain power in 2026.
