Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has advised Corp members in the state to be resilient and patriotic in discharging their duties.
The Governor made this statement during the official closing ceremony and end of the orientation passing-out parade of the NYSC 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream 2, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Yikpata, Edu Local Government.
The Governor was represented by the Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon. Usman Lade advised all corps members to be hardworking and resilient while discharging their duties at their various places of primary assignments.
He also admonished them to participate in various Community Development Services (CDS) projects to uplift the living standards of their host communities, while also building on the vocational and entrepreneurship skills and training they were exposed to in the camp.
He further reaffirmed the commitment of the State government to their welfare, security and memorable stay in the State, while advising them to be security conscious at all times.
He admonished the Corp members to appreciate and respect the cultures of the people in their host communities appealled to employers across the State to accept the corps members posted to them and provide enabling environment for them to develop their potentials.
Highlight of the event was the parade by the corp members, which included giving hearty cheers to Governor and parade in “review order”.
