The Founder and Chairman of Emmanuel Ogunleye Foundation , has been conferred with an exemplary leadership award by the Trans-African Youth Development Initiative (TAYDI)
Yesterday, in the capital of Kwara State, Ilorin, the group bestowed recognition award on him, declaring him as an “African Patriotic Leader.”
During the august event, the Founder of the Trans-African Youth Development Initiative (TAYDI) noted in his speech that the organization is a dynamic leadership organization of youths involved in various human endeavors across Africa, including the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“The main objective is to set a new direction for good governance and uphold democratic principles.” He said
The Founder also emphasized that TAYDI is the officially recognized advocate for the 1.2 billion young people in the Commonwealth.
He described the organization as a group of youth activists and democrats who are deeply committed to serving humanity with a strong focus on justice, equality, and fairness.
While presenting the Leadership award, the founder of TAYDI recognized that Engineer Emmanuel Ogunleye, the awardee, has been honored with the prestigious NELSON MANDELA Africa Patriot Excellence award as an “Africa Patriotic Leader.”
“This title was unanimously conferred during the National Executive meeting at the United Nations Youth Assembly in Johannesburg, South Africa” He added.
The organization stated that the award has elevated Engineer Emmanuel Ogunleye to the ranks of African icons like Samuel Ladoke Akintola, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, and Alhaji Tafawa Balewa and they are confident that the philanthropist will exceed the achievements of these Nigerian legends by creating a continuous significant positive influence on the less fortunate in society.
The group emphasized that the Kwara-Born Engineer has captured the admiration of African youths through his exemplary leadership, resolute administration, beacon of optimism, and exceptional statesmanship.
On his part, Engineer Emmanuel Ogunleye who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Emmanesta Construction and Engineering LTD expressed gratitude to the delegates of TAYDI for recognizing him as an African patriotic Leader noting that the honor will inspire him to keep doing more and give back to the society.
The newly crowned Africa Patriotic Leader urged African youths to pursue excellence in their chosen professions, emphasizing that their future is in their own hands.
He encouraged them to remember that nobody owes them anything on the path to success.
He shared, “My achievements today are a result of God’s grace and my determined mindset. Despite my family background, I did not let it hinder me from pursuing my dreams and shaping my future.”
The event was attended by dignitaries and notable figures from across the nation, including Comr Ojo Opeyemi Samson, Hon. Adewara Shola Sholyment (the State Spokesperson for the Kwara People’s Democratic Party), Comr Shola Babalola, Comr Osasona Olabode (De~Way), Master Olayemi Ogunyemi, Comr Kayode (Zone C NANS Publicity Secretary), and members of the Engineer Emmanuel Ogunleye Foundation led by Comr Sunday Adeyeye, among others.
