Kwara Senator, Saliu Mustapha Bags Aare Atunluse Of Oro-Ago Kingdom

The Oloro of Oro-Ago in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Olanrewaju Dada Johnson, has conferred on Senator Saliu Mustapha with the traditional title of Aare Atunluse of Oro-Ago Kingdom.

According to the monarch, the title recognizes Senator Mustapha’s honesty, hard work, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the community.

Oba Olanrewaju Dada, while conferring the title on Senator Mustapha who is also the Turaki of ilorin and the Senator representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, hailed him for his philanthropic gesture and community development efforts, which he said earned him the title.

The monarch who celebrated his 10th coronation anniversary, held in the ancient town of Oro-Ago at an event that attracted prominent dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode Alabi; APC State Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi; Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission (FCC); federal and state lawmakers; and the Chairman of Ifelodun LGA, Hon. Femi Yusuf, among others, praised Senator Mustapha’s exemplary leadership, emphasizing that his efforts have extended far beyond his immediate constituency.

“We have heard so much about the personality and accomplishments of Senator Saliu Mustapha. His commitment to humanity, public service, and grassroots development is remarkable. This legacy of excellence inspired us to honor him with the title of Aare Atunluse. He is truly deserving of this recognition, and we are confident he will continue to make us proud,” the monarch said.

The traditional ruler further urged Senator Mustapha to remain steadfast in his dedication to public service, assuring him that his efforts would yield lasting rewards.

“Do not relent. The seeds of progress you are sowing today will soon bring forth a bountiful harvest of goodwill and a legacy that will endure for generations,” he added.

In his remarks, Senator Mustapha who was represented by a former Speaker of  the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Yisa, expressed profound gratitude to the Oloro of Oro-Ago and the entire community.

He described the recognition as a humbling acknowledgment of his contributions.

Mustapha reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration in fostering unity, promoting development, and uplifting
communities across Kwara State and beyond.
