The Chairman of the Association of Farmers of Nigeria (AFAN) in Kwara State, Hon. Umar Aboki, has hailed the Senator representing the Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha for his outstanding contributions to the agricultural sector, endorsing his recent empowerment initiative as the most impactful in the history of the association and the state.
Speaking on the sidelines of the recently concluded empowerment programme, Aboki expressed gratitude on behalf of Kwara farmers, emphasizing that no legislator in the state has ever demonstrated such dedication to their welfare.
“Since I became AFAN Chairman in Kwara State in 2020, no legislator has treated us as well as Senator Saliu Mustapha. His support for farmers is unparalleled, and this tractor empowerment initiative stands out as the most significant intervention we have ever received as an association,” he stated.
Aboki further lauded the Senator for prioritizing agriculture, stressing that his leadership has brought hope to farmers across the state.
“This is not just another political programme; it is a game-changer for the agricultural sector in Kwara. Senator Saliu Mustapha has proven himself to be a true friend of farmers, and his commitment to empowering us will have a lasting impact. The AFAN Chairman also urged other political leaders to emulate the Senator’s dedication to the agricultural sector, noting that such investments are crucial for food security and economic development.
