The BAT Movement Nigeria, a leading grassroots political advocacy group has announced the appointments of four new Zonal Coordinators to further boost grassroots engagement.
Among the new Zonal Coordinators are Hon. Edema Iron, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs, Cross River State to serve as South-South Zonal Coordinator; Engr. Wada Yahaya Mohammed, Managing Director/CEO, Nasarawa State Urban Development Agency (NUDA) and former Commissioner of Works as North-Central Zonal Coordinator; H. K Bello to serve as South-West Zonal Coordinator while Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakinkudu, Kano State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ambassadors is appointed as North-West Zonal Coordinator.
Founder of BAT Movement, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye who ratified the appointments during a meeting held at the Head Office of BAT Movement in Maitama, Abuja, says the appointments came following close observation of their commitment to the vision and ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and dedication to national development.
Their responsibilities shall include but are not limited to Strategic Coordination, Grassroots Mobilization, Structure Building, Stakeholder Engagement, Advocacy and Communication, Reporting and Evaluation as well as Events Coordination.
It is expected that the newly appointed coordinators will bring their wealth of experience, energy, and strategic insight to bear on the Movement’s mission of deepening civic engagement and mobilizing support for progressive governance.
