APC Kwara State Governorship Aspirant and chieftain, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, has congratulated the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday anniversary, describing him as a statesman whose leadership journey remains a defining case study in progressive politics in Nigeria.

In a statement issued to commemorate the President’s birthday, Prof. Sulaiman praised President Tinubu’s decades of service to Nigeria, noting that his political trajectory from pro-democracy activism to governance reflects courage, vision, and an unwavering commitment to national development.

According to Prof. Sulaiman, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated bold leadership through transformative reforms and strategic policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy and strengthening governance institutions.

He noted that since assuming office in 2023, the President has initiated far-reaching economic reforms, including the removal of long-standing fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market policies designed to stabilize the economy, improve fiscal credibility, and attract both domestic and foreign investments.

Prof. Sulaiman further highlighted the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development, economic diversification, and global economic diplomacy, which has strengthened Nigeria’s trade partnerships and improved investor confidence in the country.

He also commended the Federal Government’s focus on expanding opportunities in key sectors such as agriculture, transportation, digital technology, and energy, noting that these initiatives are laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and long-term national prosperity.

Prof. Sulaiman added that the Renewed Hope Agenda has placed priority on national security, human capital development, youth empowerment, and social investment programmes aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians and strengthening the nation’s economic resilience.

The APC chieftain also praised President Tinubu for his boldness in taking difficult but necessary decisions to reset Nigeria’s economic structure and restore confidence in public finance management.

“Your Excellency’s leadership has shown that nation-building requires courage, discipline, and a long-term vision for prosperity. Your commitment to progressive governance continues to inspire a new generation of leaders,” Prof. Sulaiman stated.

He further described President Tinubu as a political strategist and nation-builder whose contributions to Nigeria’s democratic evolution remain significant, particularly in strengthening progressive politics and democratic institutions.

Prof. Sulaiman commended the Federal Government’s increased investment in education, including a record allocation of over ₦3.5 trillion to the sector in the national budget to improve infrastructure, enhance research capacity, and strengthen teaching and learning across institutions.

The APC chieftain also applauded the administration’s renewed focus on technical and vocational education, noting that the government has begun revitalizing technical colleges and expanding Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes to equip young Nigerians with practical skills needed for employment and entrepreneurship.

In addition, Prof. Sulaiman referenced the government’s digital skills initiative, the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme, which aims to train three million Nigerians in digital and technical competencies to prepare the country for the evolving global knowledge economy.

Prof. Sulaiman prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the President as he continues to lead Nigeria toward greater economic stability, national unity, and sustainable development.

He expressed optimism that under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria will continue to advance on the path of reform, growth, and prosperity for the benefit of present and future generations.
