200 Women Petty Trader’s Grant Empowerment (Business/MSMEs Support):
Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a key priority for Hon. (Mrs.) Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi—with special focus on small business owners, market women, and petty traders who drive our local economy. With her experience as a former Commissioner for Finance, she understands the critical role of small businesses in economic growth and community development.
As part of philanthropic interventions, she provided Cash Empowerment for 200 Petty Traders in Oke-Ero Local Government during her time as the Commissioner. This intervention strengthened small businesses, supported household incomes, and boosted grassroots economic activities.
This initiative will be expanded and scaled to many more traders across the Ekiti/ Irepodun/ Isin/ Oke-Ero Federal constituency. In addition, she is committed to Connecting traders and small businesses to national grant opportunities, facilitating access to funding through institutions like the Bank of Industry (BOI).
