
The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Land Development Authority (NALDA), Engr. Cornelius Adebayo FNSE, has boosted the expansion of digital journalism in Kwara State with a financial contribution of ₦500,000 to 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications.
The donation is aimed at supporting the ongoing construction and equipping of the 9japarrot News Studio, a project designed to transition the media outfit into a fully integrated digital broadcast hub.
In a statement released on Sunday, the management of 9japarrot expressed deep appreciation to the NALDA boss, describing the gesture as a pivotal investment in independent journalism and digital innovation.
According to the media organization, the funds will be channeled directly toward the completion of the studio room, which is expected to enhance the brand’s capacity for real-time reporting and investigative journalism.
The Publisher of 9japarrot Media, Saeed Tijjani while reacting to the donation, described Engr. Adebayo as a visionary leader who understands the intersection of information technology and national development.
“This ₦500,000 support is a massive boost to our vision of professionalizing digital reportage in Kwara and Nigeria at large. We are profoundly grateful for his belief in our brand and his investment in our future,” the statement read.
