A frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Qs. Theophilus Ayo Apere, FNIQS has obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa Federal Constituency seat.
Apere picked up the forms in Abuja, where he also met with key party stakeholders as part of efforts to strengthen his support base ahead of the race.
Speaking shortly after obtaining the forms, Apere said his decision to run was driven by a deep commitment to serve the people and deliver effective representation at the national level.
“I am stepping forward because our constituency deserves a stronger voice, better opportunities, and practical solutions to everyday challenges,” he said.
The estate surveyor and valuer, who is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, stressed that his campaign would focus on inclusive development, youth empowerment, and economic growth across the three local government areas.
He noted that engaging party leaders was a critical step in aligning his vision with the broader goals of the party and building a united front ahead of the elections.
Apere added that he would run an issue-based campaign that prioritises the needs of the people, promising to listen, consult widely, and act decisively when given the mandate.
With the formal process now underway, Apere said he would intensify consultations across Ifelodun, Oyun, and Offa, while mobilising grassroots support to ensure victory at the polls.
He assured constituents that his campaign would remain focused, transparent, and people-driven, with a clear goal to attract development and improve the standard of living in the constituency.
