Spanish Segunda Division club Real Zaragoza has announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Peter Ademo from Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol.
Ademo has penned a four-year contract with the Spanish outfit as he embarks on a new chapter in his professional career.
The 23-year-old began his professional journey in Lithuania in 2022 with Dainava. The powerful midfielder made a strong impression during his second season at the club, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 19 appearances.
His performances earned him a move to Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol in 2023. However, Ademo struggled for regular playing time during his first two seasons at the club and was subsequently sent on loan to Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest.
Ademo returned to Sheriff Tiraspol at the start of last season and enjoyed an improved campaign. He contributed four goals and three assists in 40 appearances, attracting the attention of Real Zaragoza.
The Nigerian midfielder will now look to continue his development and make an impact in the Spanish Segunda Division following his move to Real Zaragoza.
