Following the conclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, a prominent Kwara South senatorial aspirant and member of the TETFUND Board, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has hosted a high-profile post-primary stakeholders’ engagement, urging his teeming supporters to remain steadfast within the ruling party and work for its total victory in the 2027 general elections.
The strategic convergence, which took place at his Irewolede residence in Ilorin, brought together political heavyweights, leaders of various coalition support groups, and hundreds of party loyalists under the ENACT family structure from across the seven local government areas of Kwara South.
The meeting commenced with an opening address by Hon. Engr. Jimoh Adebayo Alao and opening prayers led by Pastor David Aremu from Irepodun Local Government Area. In attendance were notable political figures including Hon. Titilayo Taiwo Ogundipe, Hon. Steven Olusegun Agboola, Hon. Chief Aremu Dosa Mayegun Oko, and Awobimpe Shiloh, among others.
Addressing the gathering of supporters, Engr. Adeyemi expressed profound appreciation to his campaign team for demonstrating the true meaning of political loyalty without being driven by financial inducements.
While acknowledging the mixed feelings among his followers regarding the primary outcome, the tech entrepreneur counselled them to accept the result as the will of the Almighty, stressing that maintaining a unified frontline under the leadership of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, remains paramount.
“I thank you all who are here today because you have truly shown what loyalty means. It is far better to remain within the ruling party than to move into the opposition. Having our team at the table where decisions are made is what matters most. I am pleading with you all, let us deliver for our party, the APC. If God wills it for us, there will always be a time for change. Sitting with the present Governor, I can assure you there is still immense hope, and many spaces are yet to be occupied at both the federal and state levels,” Adeyemi stated.
Hinting at ongoing party processes, the APC chieftain noted that in politics, “24 hours is a long journey,” adding that until the final statutory substitution window closes on July 11, the party structure remains dynamic. However, he maintained that the immediate directive from the state leadership must be strictly followed to protect the party’s stability.
To demonstrate his unalloyed commitment to the success of the party, Engr. Adeyemi announced the unconditional donation of a brand-new, fully branded campaign vehicle to the Kwara State APC to boost mobilization efforts for the forthcoming 2027 polls.
He concluded by urging his followers to remain calm, disciplined, and focused on grassroots mobilization, expressing firm optimism that their collective dedication would be heavily rewarded with greater leadership opportunities for the constituency in the near future.
