The LUBCON Group of Companies has marked its 35th anniversary, celebrating more than three decades of industrial operations, innovation, service and contributions to Nigeria’s economic development.
The anniversary celebration, held under the leadership of the company’s Chairman, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, brought together members of staff, stakeholders and dignitaries from across Kwara State and beyond.
In his opening remarks, the Group Managing Director (GMD), Mr. Adesoji Fagbemi, expressed appreciation to the company’s staff and stakeholders for their dedication and contributions to Lubcon’s growth over the years.
Fagbemi commended the workforce for their commitment to the organisation and urged them to remain dedicated while embracing continuous improvement and innovation to further strengthen the company.
He encouraged both senior and junior members of staff to maintain the values and commitment that have contributed to Lubcon’s success over the past 35 years.
Speaking at the occasion, Professor Rahaman Olarewaju Mustapha highlighted the importance of teamwork and collective responsibility in sustaining the company’s growth.
He urged members of staff across all levels to continue working together towards achieving the organisation’s objectives, stressing that the progress of Lubcon depends on the commitment and cooperation of its workforce.
Professor Mustapha also reflected on Lubcon’s achievements and its expanding contributions across Kwara State and Nigeria, while highlighting the role of the company’s founder, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, in business development and humanitarian activities.
He described Engr. Jani Ibrahim as a humanitarian and Good Samaritan whose contributions have extended beyond the corporate environment to positively impact communities and society at large.
Also speaking, the General Manager, Human Capital and Administration, represented by GGM Adefioye Folashade, expressed gratitude to God for the company’s 35-year journey and the milestone being celebrated.
She appreciated the management and staff for their continued commitment, assuring that the organisation would remain focused on sustaining its achievements and building on the progress recorded over the years.
Speaking also, the Chairman of LUBCON Group, Engr. Jani Ibrahim expressed appreciation to the company’s workforce and other participants for their contributions to the organisation’s journey.
Engr. Ibrahim reflected on LUBCON’s evolution over the past 35 years, noting the progress recorded by the company and its continued commitment to growth and development.
He thanked the staff for their loyalty and dedication, while praying for the continued success, sustainability and longevity of the company.
