Hon. Aileru Olamilekan Mukail has urged members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Asa Local Government Area to mobilize massively for the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The call was made on Thursday during his grassroots engagement with elders, women and youths of Sosoki/Yowere Ward in the LGA.
Aileru said the interactive session provided an opportunity for honest conversations on the concerns, aspirations and expectations of the people for the future.
He urged residents to come out en masse to support the election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, as Senator representing Kwara Central; the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, as Governor of Kwara State; and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
As part of efforts to deepen party structure at the ward level, Aileru also launched the Sosoki/Yowere Grassroots Mobilization Network, saying it was designed to strengthen engagement and ensure that the voices of the people are heard and represented.
Later in the day, he joined the people of Igbo Efon for a special prayer for Governor AbdulRazaq in appreciation of his administration and for the successful completion of a borehole water project in the community.
The former Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor also inspected the ongoing renovation at Asa LG Primary School, Idi-Ose, established in 1976, alongside the Ward Councillor. He described the intervention as heartwarming, noting that the school has shaped generations and remains important to the history of the community.
“I remain committed to the grassroots, to service, and to the progress of Asa and Kwara State. Together, we strengthen the grassroots. Together, we build a greater Kwara,” he said.
