Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has come under fire on social media following the circulation of an alleged leaked audio recording of a conversation with her TikTok fan, Bisgold. In the recording, Abraham was reportedly heard laughing at comments made about fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo.
The 12-minute audio, allegedly released by blogger Mama Esabod, has generated widespread reactions, with many social media users questioning Abraham’s response to the remarks about her colleagues.
The conversation, conducted mainly in Yoruba and Pidgin English, featured Bisgold repeatedly making disparaging comments about Akindele, while Abraham appeared to listen and laugh without reprimanding the fan.
Iyabo Ojo was also mentioned during the discussion. Bisgold reportedly claimed that Ojo had yet to move on from a previous incident, a remark that reportedly prompted Abraham to laugh and agree that the actress had not gotten over it.
The recording has since attracted criticism online, with some users accusing Abraham of failing to maintain appropriate boundaries with fans and expressing disappointment over her reaction to the comments about fellow entertainers.
Reacting to the controversy, a social media user, WhoKnowsyezt, wrote: “Toyin no just get sense olohun. See how you’re comfortable with a FAN. Gosshhhh.”
Another commenter, Fifi Efretuei, said: “Not a fan of either of them but seems this lady can’t learn a simple lesson of setting boundaries. she talks too much.”
Similarly, Prince Ademola Salami criticised the actress, writing: “She no geh sense. I still prefer Funke Akindele to her. Funke is filled with good energy. She’s a double faced person and a f^ck!ng pretender.”
Beyond the remarks about Akindele and Ojo, Abraham reportedly discussed actors Itele and Kemity during the conversation. She alleged that some individuals who publicly claim to support her operate fake accounts to attack other people.
She also spoke warmly about Kemity, describing the actress as someone she considers a daughter.
