2026 U-17 WWC: Adegbuyi Targets More Goals for Flamingos

Nigeria forward Oluwakemi Adegbuyi is targeting more goals for the Flamingos at the ongoing 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, DAILY POST reports.

Adegbuyi opened her scoring account in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Puerto Rico in their second group-stage match.

The 16-year-old striker was also on target in the Flamingos’ impressive 3-1 win over defending champions North Korea in Rabat on Friday night.

Adegbuyi had another goal ruled out against the Asian side following a foul in the build-up.

The forward is determined to maintain her scoring form as Nigeria continue their campaign in the competition.

“I hope to score more goals,” Adegbuyi said after the victory over North Korea.

“We came out to play against North Korea and we got the three points,” she added.

The Flamingos will now look to build on their victory as they progress to the knockout stage of the tournament, with Adegbuyi hoping to play a key role in Nigeria’s quest for the title.
