President Bola Tinubu has urged Party faithful and supporters to vote for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.
Tinubu made this call on Saturday during the APC Presidential Campaign flag-off held in Kaduna.
He implored Nigerians to reelect him to consolidate the gains of his first tenure and reforms that have strengthened the nation’s economy.
His words: “Come January 16, 2027, you must go out massively to elect me again. APC all the way. APC for our governors, APC for our senators, APC for House of Representatives, and all the state houses of assemblies.
“Your prosperity is here. The future is in your hands. The fingers should reflect it. Watch them. Don’t let them lie to you. What’s past is in the past.”
Tinubu’s clearly dismissed insinuation that he is backing rainbow coalition or any alliance that would put APC candidates at disadvantage.
The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, APC Governors including AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor, the Party National leadership led by Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, Ministers and other Appointees graced the event.
