Marseille to Decide on Tochukwu Nnadi’s Future in January Transfer Window

French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille will decide on the future of Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi during the winter transfer window.

Nnadi joined Marseille from Belgian Pro League side Zulte Waregem in January 2025.

The defensive midfielder made eight appearances for the French club during the second half of last season following his arrival.

However, the 23-year-old has struggled to secure regular playing time in the current campaign and is reportedly not considered an indispensable member of the squad.

According to Get French Football News, Marseille are prepared to either sell the Nigerian midfielder or allow him to leave on loan when the transfer window opens in January.

The club’s decision could provide Nnadi with an opportunity to secure more playing time elsewhere, having struggled to establish himself as a regular option at Marseille.

A potential move away from the French club could also boost his chances of securing regular first-team football and strengthening his prospects of earning a place in the Nigeria national team.

The January transfer window is therefore expected to be an important period for the midfielder as Marseille consider the next step in his career.
