NACCIMA President Departs China After Fruitful Business Deliberations

The President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, has concluded his official business mission to Guangzhou, China, marking the end of a productive engagement that strengthened Nigeria–China trade relations.


In a separate interview, Dr. Ibrahim expressed deep appreciation to the Nigerian Consul-General in Guangzhou, Ambassador Collins Onwueke, for his instrumental role in facilitating the visit and promoting Nigeria’s economic interests in China.

“We are very delighted with the success of this mission. The support of Ambassador Collins and his team made this engagement impactful and fruitful. We look forward to building on this momentum to deepen partnerships that will drive industrial growth and internationalize Nigerian businesses,” he stated.


Dr. Ibrahim reaffirmed NACCIMA’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for Nigerian entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services on global platforms. He emphasized the importance of strengthening Nigeria’s participation in international trade fairs, including the forthcoming global trade exposition, where Nigerian-made goods will be prominently featured.

“Our focus is on expanding opportunities for Nigerian companies — improving product quality, export readiness, and competitiveness — so that we can attract investment and drive economic diversification,” he added.


During his visit, the NACCIMA President toured several designated factories and enterprises, where discussions centered on advancing industrial collaboration, technology exchange, and export development.
