
Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, Member of the Board of Trustees of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) and Founder of ENACT, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of Otunba Abdulganiyu Zubair (Ganzy), an esteemed Federal Government appointee to the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Engr. Adeyemi described the late Otunba Zubair as a man of great honour, humility, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of education and community development. He noted that Otunba Zubair’s recent conferment as the Akinrogun of Irese Okoland stood as a testament to his exceptional service, noble character, and commitment to the progress of his people.
“His demise is a monumental loss to his family, the Idofin Odo Ase community, Oke Ero Local Government Area, and indeed the entire Kwara State,” he said. “He will be fondly remembered for his integrity, generous spirit, and constructive engagements, especially in governance and institutional development.”
Engr. Adeyemi, on behalf of his family and the entire ENACT family, extended heartfelt condolences to the wife, children, extended family, friends, and all who mourn this painful loss. He prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the departed’s shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and admit him into Aljanah Firdaus.
He further prayed for Allah’s comfort and strength for the family left behind.
