Anti-Insecurity Protest Continues in Abuja as Demonstrators Demand Government Action

By Monsurat Abisoye

Protests against rising insecurity in Nigeria continued on Saturday morning in Abuja, with demonstrators gathering for the fourth consecutive day at Karu Bridge.

The protesters, in large numbers, chanted slogans including “APC must go” and “bring back our children,” while calling on the government to take urgent action over the increasing cases of killings and kidnappings across the country.

Social media activist and influencer VeryDarkMan was also present at the protest venue, where he was seen encouraging the crowd as they continued their chants.

The demonstrations come amid renewed public concern over worsening insecurity in Nigeria, including recent abductions of schoolchildren and teachers in both Oyo and Borno States.
