According to the command, the suspects have provided statements that could assist the investigation, while efforts are underway to apprehend other alleged accomplices and recover more firearms.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Tijani Fatai, reiterated the command’s determination to dismantle cult groups and other criminal networks operating within the state.
Fatai cautioned individuals involved in cultism and other criminal activities to desist or face the full weight of the law. He also appealed to residents to provide credible and timely information to the police to strengthen security across their communities.
