The Founder of ENACT, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, has commended Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for what he described as strategic investments in security, economic growth and infrastructure aimed at improving residents’ welfare.
Balogun said the administration’s support for security agencies, community protection initiatives and inter-agency collaboration demonstrated a commitment to protecting lives, safeguarding livelihoods and strengthening public confidence.
He cited the recent presentation of 25 additional Toyota Hilux vehicles to the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force as part of a broader plan to provide approximately 100 vehicles to security agencies.
According to him, the intervention is expected to improve operational mobility, expand patrol coverage and enhance responses to security threats, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.

The ENACT founder also acknowledged the administration’s support for forest guards, community-based security structures and joint operations, including Operation Harmony, alongside collaboration with federal security institutions.
He further commended the government’s financial assistance to the families of fallen forest guards, vigilantes and community fighters, describing the gesture as recognition of their sacrifices in protecting lives and communities.
“Security is fundamental to development. When people feel safe, farmers can access their fields, businesses can operate, investors can commit resources and communities can pursue economic opportunities,” Balogun said.
Balogun stressed that sustainable security must go hand in hand with economic empowerment, job creation and measures to ease the cost-of-living pressures on households.
He noted that expanding access to employment, vocational and digital skills, entrepreneurship support and productive economic activities would improve livelihoods, strengthen community resilience and provide young people with opportunities to build sustainable futures.
He encouraged the state government to sustain initiatives that support small businesses, boost local production, improve access to essential services and strengthen household purchasing power.
According to him, the impact of economic progress should ultimately be measured by improvements in the everyday lives of citizens.
The ENACT founder also commended the administration’s focus on physical infrastructure, including roads, bridges, electricity and other public facilities, describing them as essential to economic growth and effective security operations.
He explained that improved road networks facilitate the movement of security personnel and emergency responders while connecting rural communities to markets, healthcare, education and other essential services.
Balogun added that better infrastructure could reduce barriers to trade, strengthen agricultural value chains and make communities more attractive to investors.
He called for sustained infrastructure development across Kwara State’s three senatorial districts to ensure that both urban and rural communities benefit from government investments.
Balogun urged government institutions, security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders, businesses and residents to strengthen collaboration in consolidating the state’s security and development efforts.
He emphasised the need for effective monitoring of security interventions, responsible use of public resources and regular assessment of their impact on residents’ safety and welfare.
He also encouraged citizens to support security agencies by providing credible and timely information to help prevent crime and maintain peace.
“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s investments in security should be seen as part of a broader effort to build a Kwara where people can live without fear, businesses can thrive, young people can access opportunities and communities
