A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Dr. Kehinde Alex Bankole (KAB) has dissociated himself from a circulated appointment letter naming a “Hon. Bankole Kehinde” as the Kwara State Coordinator of the Atiku Village Boys Movement.
In a statement issued by his media office on Tuesday made available to 9japarrot, Dr. Bankole clarified that he is not the individual referenced in the appointment letter, noting that the name likely belongs to someone else due to shared nomenclature.
The royal prince from Ekan Kingdom in Oke-Ero Local Government Area emphasized that he has neither authorized nor accepted any appointment linking him to the opposition political movement.
Dr. Bankole reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the ruling APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He highlighted his ongoing political engagement as the Kwara State Secretary of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), which was recently inaugurated in Kano State.
The statement called on political associates, media organizations, and the general public to disregard any claims linking him to the Atiku support group, advising proper verification before circulating information that misrepresents his political identity and standing.
Dr. Bankole maintained that his political allegiance remains firm with the APC and the leadership of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
