Galatasaray winger, Rafael Leão, has backed Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Leão made the remarks after they lost 4-1 to the LaLiga giants in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Although Yamal did not score , he once again played a key role as Barca moved to the top of the table.
In an interview with TNT Sports BR, Leão said: “I hope Lamine Yamal wins the Ballon d’Or and big trophies with Barca.
“He is among the best in the world, he’s someone I really appreciate as a player and person. He’s surrounded by good players at an extraordinary club.”
The winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or award will be announced on October 26.
