Senator representing Abia North Senatorial district, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has extended a congratulatory message to Mr. Emmanuel Joe Osu, an indigene of Ohafia Local Government Area in Abia North on his selection and participation in a specialized international training program on Cotton Processing, Textile, and Trade for Developing Countries.
The capacity-building initiative facilitated through the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation in strategic partnership with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China is currently underway in China.
In a terse message posted through his verified social media handles, Senator Kalu noted that the program is designed to expose participants to global industrial standards and technical expertise.
“I am confident that this valuable opportunity will broaden his knowledge, strengthen his professional capacity and equip him with practical skills that will contribute meaningfully to his personal development and the economic growth of our society,” the Lawmaker said.
“I wish him a rewarding learning experience and a successful return” the statement added.
The specialized training program aims to foster international cooperation, technical skills transfer, and economic development by connecting promising young Nigerians with advanced industrial practices in textile production and global trade operations.
