Isin Local Government, Isin Local Government, under the leadership of Honorable Tunde Fadipe, is pleased to announce the upcoming Business-Tech Summit and Empowerment Program tagged “Empower, Educate, Elevate.” The event aims to empower tradespeople, market women, and farmers within the local community by leveraging the power of technology.
The primary objective of this initiative is to organize a comprehensive business summit focused on empowering traders, market women, and farmers while incorporating technology as a pivotal tool in their respective businesses. By merging these initiatives, we aim to foster economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development within the community.
Isin Local Government is partnering with Access Bank to open personal and corporate accounts for business owners, the Corporate Affairs Commission to assist with business registration, the Kwara State Ministry of Agriculture to provide farm produce at discounted prices for empowerment, and the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) and ARMTI to provide training for farmers.
The objectives of the summit include educating and empowering traders, market women, and farmers on utilizing technology for business growth, fostering networking opportunities, showcasing success stories of technology implementation, and promoting digital literacy within the local community.
The proposed activities for the event include interactive workshops, and hands-on training sessions. Topics covered will include the introduction to digital tools for business, e-commerce and online marketplaces, and social media for business growth.
