Do More On Security, IEDPU Charges Tinubu



The National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), ACG AbdulMumini Ayo AbdulMalik (rtd), has implored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all 36 Governors to give greater priority to the security of life and property of Nigerians in to ensure the stability and progress of the country.

The IEDPU President made this call yesterday, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 when he led a delegation of the Union on a sympathy visit to the patriarch of the Kadriyah family of Masingba Quarters, Ilorin, Shaykh Hassan Kadriyah, on the recent abduction of some members of his family in Abuja.

The community leader explained that the increasing rate of insecurity across the country is becoming pathetic as he said that urgent steps must be taken to stem the tide.

The retired Immigration topnotch sympathised with Shaykh Kadriyah and members of his family over the unfortunate development as he expressed the hope that the kidnapped members of the family would soon be released.

He also prayed for the repose of the soul of a member of the family who lost his life while collaborating with the Police to secure the release of his siblings from the criminals .

ACG AbdulMalik encouraged public spirited individuals, particularly well-to-do indigenes of Ilorin Emirate, to support the Kadriyah family in every way possible at this trying time, reminding all that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Responding, Shaykh Kadriyah thanked the IEDPU President and members of his entourage for deeming it fit to identify with the family at this critical time as he appealed to the Kwara State Government and other stakeholders to help in the rescue of the kidnapped members of his family.
