The Rebirth Movement on Friday organized a special prayer session and a lecture in honour of its leader and captain, Mallam Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha (LOM), who also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sobi 101.9 FM and the Captain of the Rebirth Movement.
The gathering attracted a crowd of political associates, market women, youth groups, elders, and passionate loyalists who converged in Ilorin to celebrate the frontline financial expert and political leader on his birthday anniversary.
Delivering a keynote sermon at the event, Professor Mashood Abdullahi Gatta urged members of the movement to remain steadfast, united, and completely committed to the progressive ideals championed by their leader. He emphasized that continuous service to the less privileged and a firm dedication to community development remain the definitive pillars for achieving long-term societal growth.
The special prayer session was subsequently led by prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Hussain, who offered heartfelt supplications for divine guidance, robust health, wisdom, and long life for the celebrant.
The cleric also used the spiritual platform to pray for sustainable peace, security, and socio-economic prosperity across Kwara State and the Nigerian federation.
The event featured a series of enthusiastic goodwill messages from political stakeholders and media executives, who described Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha popularly recognized across Kwara as the Baraden of Okuta Land as a visionary humanitarian whose continuous investments in grassroots empowerment, corporate banking, and independent media continue to inspire thousands across the state.
The birthday celebration concluded with a formalized, renewed commitment by the various structures within the Rebirth Movement to aggressively expand on LOM’s social intervention frameworks while driving structural unity and collective development at the grassroots level.
