The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially displayed the final lists and personal particulars of candidates contesting for Presidential, Senatorial, and House of Representatives seats in Kwara State ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The official documents were published on Saturday at the INEC State Headquarters situated in the Olorunsogo area of Ilorin, drawing representatives of political parties, legal practitioners, media personnel, and eager citizens to inspect the published details.
Key political figures and prominent contenders whose names and particulars were pasted on the official notice boards include Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Senator Saliu Mustapha; Lekan Adewoye (LAF); Hon. Saheed Popoola; Florence Oyeyemi Olasumbo; APC House of Reps Candidate for Ekiti Irepodun Isin Oke-Ero Federal Constituency and the PDP counterparts Obanla; and the former Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye.
The publication at the Olorunsogo state headquarters confirms the clearance of candidates across major participating political parties officially recognized by the commission, including the Action Alliance (AA), African Peoples Party (APP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), National Democratic Coalition/Party (NDC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Action Peoples Party (APM), and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
