Kwara Frontiers (KF), a political movement within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its state executive committee and local government delegates, charging them to build a knowledge-driven network to secure victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration and Training of Trainers (ToT) Capacity-Building Workshop, held on Tuesday at the Elite Tranquil Hotel in Ilorin, was centered on the theme “Kwara First: Building Strategic Influencers for APC’s 2027 Victory and the Consolidation of Good Governance.”
During the event, the newly inaugurated executives formally decorated the Kwara State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, and the Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, as Patrons of the organisation following their appointments announced by the State Coordinator, Sir Ben Duntoye.
Delivering the welcome address, the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Hon. Olalekan Ajiboye stated that the workshop was organized to equip media influencers and grassroots organizers with strategic communication skills and verified government data.
In his keynote address, former Kwara State Commissioner for Information and Youth Development, Sir Ben Duntoye who was inaugurated as the State Coordinator of Kwara Frontiers outlined the core philosophy of the group, which he described as an ideological movement anchored on “Kwara First.”
Duntoye stated that the group’s two-fold mandate is to build capacity across all 16 local government areas and secure a total electoral victory for the APC, from the presidency to the party’s governorship flagbearer, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, as well as all National and State Assembly candidates.
“We are building a knowledge-driven army across all 16 LGAs working hand in hand with the APC party leadership,” Duntoye said.
“You are 90 here today, but you are to go and produce 900, and 900 will produce 9,000. That is how we will multiply and win. We sell achievements, not hate.” He added.
The workshop featured technical sessions, including Module 1 handled by Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, titled “Appraisal of Gov AbdulRazaq’s Achievements and Converting them to Canvassing Narratives.”
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority (LNRBDA), Hon. Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa, urged the newly inaugurated executives to equip themselves with the records of the AbdulRazaq-led administration and take the message to every corner of the state to highlight the difference between current developmental efforts and past administrations.
Inaugurating the executive council, Kwara APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi emphasized party unity and assured Kwara Frontiers of full integration into the party’s campaign architecture.
“We will ensure we carry your group along in our political dispensation, most importantly during the electioneering period,” Fagbemi stated.
“This is to enable your structure to work together with the party to ensure total victory for all our candidates come 2027.” He added.
The gathering also had in attendance the State APC PRO, Alhaji A.O Babatunde, Senior Special Assistant on Youth Engagement to Kwara Governor, Hon. Ilufoye Samson, among other notable personalities.
