The Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG), the apex youth body in Kwara South has announced plans for its upcoming Grand Summit, Award Ceremony, and Mega Fundraising Event.
According to a statement made available to 9japarrot and issued by the organization’s General Secretary, Amb. Comr. Ashaolu David Taiwo, the event is aimed at strategic repositioning to enhance youth development, organizational visibility, and sustainable impact across the district.
The multi-million naira fundraising initiative is specifically targeted at three major projects: the construction of an ultra-modern secretariat, the procurement of an organizational coaster bus, and the execution of comprehensive youth empowerment programmes across Kwara South’s seven local government areas.
The summit will bring together key stakeholders for intellectual deliberations on youth development, leadership, and community advancement. In addition, the award ceremony will honour distinguished individuals who have made contributions to youth empowerment and regional development.
“We call on all members, stakeholders, sons and daughters of Kwara South at home and in the diaspora, political leaders, captains of industry, and friends of the youth to support this noble cause,” the statement read.
The organization noted that the date and venue for the event will be communicated in due course, adding that partnership and sponsorship channels have been opened to the public.
