EPL: Man United Consider Four Managers to Replace Carrick After Bournemouth Defeat

Manchester United are reportedly considering at least four managerial candidates to replace Michael Carrick following the club’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League.

According to the UK Telegraph, senior officials are scheduled to hold crisis talks on Monday to determine Carrick’s future at Old Trafford.

The report claims that Carrick is on the verge of being dismissed, with the club reportedly sitting just one point above the relegation zone.

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe and Germany national team coach Julian Nagelsmann are among the leading candidates being considered as potential replacements.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery and Brighton and Hove Albion manager Fabian Hürzeler are also understood to have admirers within Manchester United.

However, no final decision has been made regarding Carrick’s position, and the club’s hierarchy is expected to assess the situation before determining the next step.

The reported developments come amid growing pressure on Manchester United following their defeat to Bournemouth, with the club facing mounting concerns over its league position and managerial direction.
