The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has conveyed his deepest condolences to the families of the Chief Imam of Budo-Egba land and Otte-Oja both in the Asa local government area of the state over the demise of the two prominent Islamic leaders.
Both Sheikh Saadalah Alaraba; the Chief Imam of Budo-Egba land and Sheikh Isiaq Abdulrahman; the Chief Imam of Otte-Oja died on Friday, August 11, and have been buried according to Islamic injunctions.
“The death of these great Islamic scholars has dealt with us a great blow considering their position as spiritual and community leaders who constantly remind us of the words of Allah and the need to follow the dictates of the sunnah to have felicity in this world and the hereafter, we would surely miss them”, Rt. Hon. Engr. Danladi-Salihu noted in his condolence message.
“I want to sincerely commiserate with the immediate families of the deceased, my colleagues in the two constituencies – Hon. Bello Yinusa Oniboki and Hon. Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu who both represent Afon and Owode/Onire, the traditional leaders and the people of Budo-Egba land Otte-oja communities, may Almighty Allah comfort us all in this trying time and admit our departed loved ones into Aljanat Fridaos, Ameen “.
