Ilorin, Kwara State – The Kwara for Kwarans Initiative, a pro-Kwara organization focused on social impacts and developments, has successfully concluded a week-long sensitization campaign against drug abuse tagged “Stop Colos Before It Stops You”.
The campaign, which kicked off in Challenge area, Ilorin, covered various locations including Post Office, GRA, Tanke Junction, Tipper Garage, and Oke-Odo. The team also visited Offa LGA areas such as Federal Polytechnic Offa, College of Health Technology, General Hospital, and Corpers’ Lodge.
On Wednesday, the team visited Kwara State University Malete, and on Thursday, they reflected on their earlier movements and strategized on how to deepen their impact.
The grand finale of the campaign took place today at Tipper Garage, Tanke, Ilorin, with an impressive turnout of students, commercial drivers, and commercial motorcyclists. The participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative’s commitment to creating awareness and promoting a healthier community.
The Kwara for Kwarans Initiative has urged the general public to join in the fight against drug abuse, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in building a safer and more prosperous Kwara State.
