Governor Hope Uzodimma praised the talented individuals from Imo state, stating that they are valuable assets to the country. This statement was made when he received the Super Falcons of Imo origin – Chiamaka Nnadozie, Desire Oparanozie, Osinachi Ohale, and Tochukwu Oluehi – at the Government House Owerri.
The governor commended the Nigerian Super Falcons for their remarkable performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which was truly impressive. He encouraged them not to be discouraged by the outcome of the competition.
As a token of appreciation and support for their careers, the governor generously approved the allocation of one plot of land each within the city of Owerri to the quad. This gesture by the government is a small way of showing gratitude for their patriotism and dedication.
