Sulyman Olawale Foundation Strengthen Ties With Community Leaders In Kwara, Announces Welfare Initiatives

The Sulyman Olawale Foundation (S.O.F) has strengthened its ties with community leaders in the Tanke area of Kwara State, paying a courtesy visit to the Alangua and 33 Magajis.

The meeting, which was a testament to the foundation’s dedication to grassroots engagement, provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and the exploration of ways to collaborate on initiatives that benefit the community.

Representing the NGO were the State Director, Mrs Faridah Sulyman, the Programme Manager, Habib Akewusola and PRO Abdulsalam Abdultawwab Oluwatosin FCIML alongside other members of the Foundation.


During the meeting, S.O.Foundation through its spokes person Abdultawwab introduced its activities to the Alangua and Magaji’s highlighting its mission to empower vulnerable members of the society through various outreach programs. The foundation also informed the community leaders about its upcoming food distribution outreach to the vulnerable elderly and women in their community, aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship.

Furthermore, the S.O.Foundation disclosed its intention to host a scholarship scheme for a large number of primary school students in the community, underscoring its commitment to education and youth development. The community leaders were impressed by the foundation’s initiatives and expressed their gratitude for the organization’s efforts.

In a gesture of goodwill, the S.O.Foundation presented cash donations demonstrating its appreciation for their leadership and guidance.

The Alangua who on his part know the father of the Chairman, Late Alhaji Olanrewaju Sulyman a former Local Government Chairman of Tanke was filled with joy as he prayed for the continous progress of the foundation and encouraged members to keep the good work going.
