Managing Director of BawBaw Farms, Mr. Musbau Alasinrin, in celebration of the Firm’s 10th anniversary as the biggest fish farm in North Central Nigeria has announced 150 Internships slots for Kwarans.
BawBaw Farms, the leading aquaculture enterprise in North Central Nigeria, has marked its 10th anniversary in grand style. The Managing Director, Mr. Musbau Alasinrin, celebrated the milestone by reflecting on the farm’s remarkable journey and unveiling a new youth empowerment initiative.
Over the past decade, BawBaw Farms has grown to become the largest fish farm in the region, playing a pivotal role in transforming aquaculture, empowering local farmers, and strengthening food security.
Speaking at the anniversary event, Mr. Alasinrin emphasized the company’s vision of going beyond fish production to creating opportunities for people. As part of the celebration, he announced the opening of 150 internship slots exclusively for young people in Kwara State.
The program, according to him, will provide participants with hands-on experience, modern aquaculture techniques, and entrepreneurial skills in agribusiness.
“Our vision is not just to produce fish, but to produce opportunities,” Mr. Alasinrin said. “This internship program is our way of giving back to the people of Kwara and ensuring that the next generation is prepared to lead in agribusiness and food sustainability.”
He further noted that the initiative is designed to build capacity among the youth, reduce unemployment, and promote self-reliance in the agricultural sector.
