
As the All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic membership registration exercise concludes, Honorable Chief Segun Olaoye, the Babalaje of Oro Kingdom and Chairman of the Oluwasegun Olaoye Foundation, has been hailed for his massive financial intervention to ensure a seamless exercise across the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency.
Chief Olaoye, a frontline APC chieftain and renowned grassroots mobilizer disbursed over ₦3,000,000 (Three Million Naira) to support ward agents and coordinators across all 42 wards in the constituency.
The intervention was specifically targeted at the frontline workers of the registration exercise.
According to reports obtained by this medium from various local government areas, Oke-Ero LG Coordinators confirmed the receipt of ₦100,000 per ward, specifically donated to assist APC registration agents.
The Oke-Ero Coordinator for Team Olaoye, noted that the gesture has significantly contributed to the advancement of the party’s agenda.
Iwo Ward and other units in Isin LG also expressed gratitude for the financial support, which helped resolve logistics and technical challenges faced by agents during the e-registration process.

In Omu-Aran Ward I, II and III and the Ipetu/Rore/ Aronrin ward of Irepodun LG, Team Olaoye coordinators officially handed over the support funds, ensuring the smooth running of the exercise in these critical voting blocs.
On his part, the General Coordinator for Team Olaoye, Sulaimon Kehinde (Guba) noted that Chief Olaoye’s intervention is a strategic move to solidify the APC’s base in Kwara South ahead of the 2027 elections.
By empowering ward agents, the Babalaje of Oro Kingdom is ensuring that the party’s digital database is robust and inclusive of grassroots supporters.
An official statement from Ekiti LGA Coordinator of Team Olaoye noted that Chief Olaoye’s selfless act is a confirmation of his commitment to the growth and development of our people. He added that his leadership inspires them to work tirelessly towards a brighter future.
The distribution covered a vast political map, including: Irepodun: Oro, Omu-Aran, Ajasse Ipo, Isin: Iwo, Oke-Onigbin, Alla,Ekiti: Osi, Obbo-Aiyegunle and Oke-Ero: Iloffa, Odo-Owa, Ekan.
Chief Segun Olaoye is widely recognized for his philanthropic efforts through the Oluwasegun Olaoye Foundation, which has previously intervened in education, water provision, and youth empowerment.
This recent ₦3 million injection into the political process further cements his role as a key pillar of the Progressive” family in Kwara South.
