NACCIMA PRO, Madinat Oladotun Congratulates New KWACCIMA President on Inauguration

••• Expresses Confidence in His Leadership to reposition KWACCIMA

The National Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Mrs Madinat Adigun-Oladotun, has extended warm congratulations to the newly inaugurated President of Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA), Engr. Abu Salami, FNiMechE, FNSE, CEng.

Mrs Madinat Oladotun expressed confidence in Engr. Abu Salami’s capacity to effectively manage the state-level Chamber and return it to the era of greatness and exemplary leadership for its peers.

Engr. Abu Salami, the 12th President of KWACCIMA, was inaugurated on the 18th of April 2026.

In her congratulatory message, Oladotun, who is also the Managing Director of Trendsville Media Limited and a former KWACCIMA PRO, described Engr. Abu Salami as a consummate professional and community leader with a proven track record of excellence in his previous leadership roles.

“With Engr. Abu Salami as our new President at KWACCIMA, I am confident that the Kwara Chamber will return to the era of greatness where it provided exemplary leadership for all other Chambers in Nigeria,” the NACCIMA PRO said.

“Leadership is about inclusion, cooperation, and managing diverse interests. Good leaders do not claim to know it all; they actively seek the opinions and inputs of others to achieve better outcomes. I, therefore, encourage Mr. President to run an inclusive leadership and be receptive of ideas and opinions to move the Chamber forward.”

Mrs Oladotun said Engr. Abu Salami has started on a good note with his commitment to ease of doing business in the state. She, however, urged him to borrow insights from the commendable leadership provided by a former President of the Chamber, Mr. Fatai Ayodimeji.

According to her, Mr. Ayodimeji’s leadership elevated KWACCIMA’s profile, brought landmark innovations, and made the Chamber respected by all stakeholders including the state government.

“During that period, KWACCIMA was a respected voice in the state. The Chamber organised some of the most successful and innovative trade fairs across Nigeria, attracting publicity and sales for businesses. KWACCIMA partnered the state government on several initiatives that promoted trade, industry and created ease for businesses in Kwara.

“As Engr. Abu Salami runs the affairs of KWACCIMA for the 2025 – 2027 term, this is the kind of leadership we look forward to. I wish him and all his executives the very best. May KWACCIMA become great again,” Oladotun said.
