The Coalition of Kwara APC Young Stakeholders (C-KAYS) has officially disowned a circulating press statement credited to one Comrade Abdulganiu Ajibowo, declaring it unauthorized, non-representative, and a fraudulent attempt to hijack the group’s political identity.
In a statement made available to 9japarrot by the recognized Coordinator of C-KAYS, Mallam Nasirudeen Abiola, the coalition comprising over 113 political support groups across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State rejected the statement in its entirety and warned against weaponizing the platform for personal political interests.
Clarifying the group’s stance on state political affairs, C-KAYS refuted claims that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq canceled or frustrated a scheduled ‘Renewed Hope’ event, describing the narrative as a manufactured controversy intended to create unnecessary friction within the progressive family.
The coalition affirmed that the Renewed Hope Agenda in Kwara State remains under the leadership of Alhaji Abdullateef Alakawa, urging media houses and the public to verify all communications with C-KAYS leadership before publication as the party mobilizes for victory ahead of the 2027 general elections.
