The political dominance of Hon. Prince Saheed Adekeye Lekan Popoola, widely celebrated as ÀṢỌFIN RERE, continues to reverberate across Kwara South as PDP leaders and stakeholders from Ifelodun and Oyun Local Government Areas converged on Ipee for a strategic engagement.
The joint meeting brought together party chairmen, candidates and key grassroots mobilizers from the two local governments as part of Prince Popoola’s ongoing consultations across the seven LGAs of Kwara South.
Deliberations centered on party unity, grassroots mobilisation, and strengthening the PDP structure from ward to local government level.
In attendance were Hon. Lukman Olabande, PDP Candidate for Essa-Shawo-Igbodun Constituency; Hon. Femi Abolarin, PDP Candidate for Oke-Ogun Constituency; the PDP Chairmen of Offa, Ifelodun and Oyun Local Governments, alongside other critical stakeholders from both LGAs.
Addressing the gathering, Prince Popoola, the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South, thanked the stakeholders for their steadfast loyalty and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive, people-centered representation.
He stressed that ÀṢỌFIN RERE is more than a name, it is a promise of quality legislation, accessibility, and genuine empowerment for every community in Kwara South.
Stakeholders from Ifelodun and Oyun in return lauded his consistent presence at the grassroots, describing his approach as rare and reassuring.
With Ifelodun and Oyun now firmly aligned, the message from across the district is clear: Kwara South remains locked down for ÀṢỌFIN RERE.
