The Management of Obodofei Integrated Services Limited praised the appointment of Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri as the Minister for State Petroleum Resources.
President Bola Tinubu nominated Lokpobiri for the position, and he assumed the role on Wednesday.
Executive Director for Project, Obodofei Integrated Services, Mr Ken Embelede expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for choosing a deserving candidate from the Ijaw land.
Embelede believes Lokpobiri’s experience as a former state Assembly member, senator, and minister under former President Muhammadu Buhari makes him well-suited for the position.
Embelede also highlighted Lokpobiri’s achievements in sponsoring the Elderly Persons bill and his expertise in environmental rights and law. The Management believes Lokpobiri will make significant contributions to the development of the country as Minister for Petroleum Resources, Embelede stated.
