The graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology also shared his inspiring story and his vision for the future.

“I believe that technology has the power to transform lives and communities.

“I’m committed to creating opportunities for young people in rural communities to access technology and unlock their full potential.”

As the founder of Tech Now Global, a non-profit organization committed to improving digital inclusion and quality education among young people in rural Nigeria, David said he is passionate about harnessing the power of technology to drive positive change.

He said, “Technology has the potential to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities.

“I want to expose young people to opportunities in technology, train them, and empower them to become active participants in the digital economy.”

The statement added, “Through innovative programs such as bootcamps, community outreach, and tailored training, Tech Now Global has empowered hundreds of youths with critical 21st-century digital skills, significantly enhancing their career prospects.”

“Starting with a small team, the organization now boasts 10 core changemakers and has impacted over 32 communities and 102 schools across Africa. David’s efforts at Tech Now Global have inspired many participants to establish their own initiatives, creating a ripple effect of change-making.

“David is also the co-founder of Beere Software, where he applies his expertise in software development to create innovative solutions that help businesses and individuals harness the power of technology.

“His impactful work has earned him numerous accolades, including sponsorship by the Lagos State Government, to complete a leadership program and certification as a leadership fellow from the Management Institute of Finland. He is also an Ashoka Young Changemaker, a Future Awards Africa Nominee, and a Teen Vogue 21 Under 21 Honoree.

“David plans to continue empowering his community through technology-based initiatives.”
