Food Security: KWAYORG Secures Cargo Tricycles For Indigenous Associations

The Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG) has successfully secured a cargo tricycle to support indigenous associations within the Kwara South Senatorial District.

This significant development was confirmed in a statement released by the President of KWAYORG, Prince Abolarin Alaba Dansharafa, and made available to 9japarrot.

According to Prince Abolarin, this facilitation of essential agricultural equipment for young people across various indigenous associations in Kwara South was achieved through a collaborative effort with the Honourable member representing the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Hon. Tijani Kayode Ismail.

9japarrot reports that Hon. Ismail recently organized a substantial agricultural empowerment program for his constituents which comprises distribution of Tricycle, power chiller, fertilizer, among others, underscoring his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy.

During the empowerment event, Hon. Tijani presented a brand new cargo tricycle to KWAYORG, Irepodun Youth Council and other notable groups.

Abolarin stated that other beneficiaries of the empowerment facilitated by KWAYORG included the Igbomina Youth Assembly, the Ekiti Navigator Group, and various farmers’ associations from Oyun and Ifelodun Local Government Areas.

Expressing his gratitude,  Abolarin emphasized the timeliness of this empowerment, highlighting its potential to bolster food security as the rainy season approaches.

He commended Hon. Tijani for his foresight and affirmed KWAYORG’s readiness, as the unified body for all Kwara South youths, to collaborate with all stakeholders in the region to foster developmental opportunities for the numerous young people.

To sustain greater opportunities, Abolarin called on all Kwara South Youth to work together and unite for common goals that would benefit everyone.

“I urge all Kwara South youths to unite in our efforts to speak with a single voice and advocate for shared objectives that will benefit everyone,” He said.
