The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Kwara South, Hon. Saheed Olalekan Popoola, popularly known as Àṣọfin Rere, has met with members of the G20, a caucus of party stakeholders, as part of his ongoing consultations across the district.
The engagement, held with party members drawn from across Kwara South, focused on the state of the PDP, strategies for strengthening the party at the grassroots, and shared aspirations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In his remarks, Àṣọfin Rere commended members of the group for their loyalty and steadfast commitment to the PDP. He noted that unity, cooperation and sustained grassroots mobilisation remain critical to repositioning the party for victory.
Popoola also assured the stakeholders of his resolve to sustain open dialogue and continuous engagement with party members across all levels, stressing that collective effort is key to achieving the hopes and aspirations of the people of Kwara South.
