Hiamaaka Anusilem is on the verge of joining Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) outfit Heartland Queens ahead of the forthcoming season.
The midfielder has reportedly agreed to join the Owerri-based club on a loan deal.
Anusilem played for Dannaz Ladies in the NWFL last season and was instrumental in helping the Lagos-based team secure promotion to the top-flight division three seasons ago.
Her expected arrival is seen as a major boost to Heartland Queens as they look to strengthen their squad and mount a challenge for the NWFL title next season.
She is also among several players expected to exit Dannaz Ladies following the club’s decision to transfer its league slot to Rangers Women.
The development is expected to trigger significant changes to the Dannaz Ladies squad as the club prepares for a new phase after relinquishing its place in the NWFL.
